Statement of Faith

We, Campus Mission International (CMI) Australia, confess our faith in accordance with the Holy Bible as our final authority:

1. The Authority of Scripture: We believe that both the Old and New Testaments are the infallible Word of God, written by divine inspiration, holding supreme authority over all matters of faith and life.

2. The Triune God: We believe in the one true God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.

3. Jesus Christ: We believe in the perfect divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of God, intercession, and personal return in power and glory.

4. Salvation: We believe that all humans are sinners by nature and fall under God's judgment, and that salvation is received solely by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

5. Regeneration & Sanctification: We believe in the necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation and that believers are called to live a holy life, taking Christ as their exemplar.

6. Resurrection & Final Judgment: We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost—the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal judgment.

7. The Great Commission: We believe that all believers are called to unite in fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations.
